An unseen video of Bollywood actor Ranbir Kapoor blessing Shloka Mehta, the daughter-in-law of Mukesh and Nita Ambani, by planting a peck on her cheek during her pre-wedding party in Switzerland has surfaced on the internet.
As seen in the video (see below), Shloka was dressed in a green cropped top with a matching maxi skirt and a white open-front jacket. She had completed her look with a pair of black shades. In contrast, Akash was dressed in a light blue suit with a white polo-neck and a white scarf around his neck. They were both flanked by Ranbir, who was first seen blessing the young Ambani scion by planting a kiss on his cheek before he pecked Shloka affectionately. Ranbir had his hand around Shloka’s waist as he chatted with the couple. This showed the bonding the Sanju actor enjoyed with Shloka, now the bahu of Mukesh and Nita Ambani.
The same video also showed Ranbir walking casually with Akash and Shloka.
As many as 300 guests including almost the entire Bollywood brigade had flown into St. Moritz for the pre-wedding functions that would begin soon. Apart from Ranbir, Alia Bhatt, Abhishek Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai, Vidya Balan, Malaika Arora, Arjun Kapoor and Karan Johar were among other notable guests. Phalguni Pathak had performed Dandia numbers keeping the Gujarati background of Shloka and Akash.
Shloka and Akash got married in March this year with the who’s who from the world politics, sports, entertainment and business attending their wedding. The two were in the news last month when Shloka celebrated her first birthday as the Ambani bahu. The Ambanis, Asia’s richest family, had released a special video message for her. The video soon became a topic of intense social media conversations since Mukesh Ambani and his sons Akash and Ananth were seen wishing that Shloka had a baby before her next birthday.
The family had faced social media roasting for allegedly pressurising Shloka into motherhood. Shloka was last seen attending the Reliance AGM meeting in Mumbai. Many believe that she has been a lucky charm for the Ambanis since the company’s quarterly results have shown an upward trend ever since she officially became a new member of Asia’s richest family.
