Actor Ranveer Singh on Saturday posted a video of himself with controversial spiritual leader Sadhguru dancing during an event organised by IIM Bangalore. Within minutes of it being posted, the video has gone viral.
Ranveer, who posted the video with a caption ‘Happy Dance !!!,’ was in conversation with Sadhguru as part of the third edition of IIMBue event hosted by Alumni Association of IIM Bangalore. Billed as an annual leadership conclave, the event claims to be a global platform for exchange of ideas and stimulating discussions.
Among other notable guests were Badminton legend Prakash Padukone (also Deepika Padukone’s father), Aakash Ambani (son of Mukesh Ambani) and filmmaker Karan Johar. A report by Deccan Chronicle said that Defence Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, Finance Secretary Hasmukh Adhia, Board Chairman of the Bank of Baroda Ravi Venkatesan, co-author of Start-up Nation: The Story of Israel’s Economic Miracle Saul Singer, former ISRO Chairman Dr Radhakrishnan, renowned cardiac surgeon Dr Devi Shetty, veteran badminton player Prakash Padukone, entrepreneur Aakash Ambani, Indian women’s cricket team captain Mithali Raj and others too will be part of the diverse line-up of guests.
In the video posted by Ranveer, the Padmaavat actor is seen dancing to what sounds like a Gujarati garbha song. The video received plenty of response from his fans as they began to comment in hordes. One fan wrote, “oh God I gotta watch this on YouTube.” Another fan wrote, “He is real hero….perfect..” One fan commented, “Woww, this is supercool” “Your energy is infectious dance,” wrote another fan.
Ranveer Singh is currently shooting for Rohit Shetty-directed Simmba, which also stars Saif Ali Khan’s daughter Sara Ali Khan. The film is being produced by Dharma Productions. He has two more films in his kitty Gully Boy and 83. The actor is rumoured to be dating Deepika Padukone and the two are reported to have decided to get married in November this year.
As for Sadhguru, he was recently in news after popular actor Siddharth launched a blistering attack on him for his support to Sterlite Copper plant, which has been facing mass protests from citizens in Tamil Nadu over alarming level of ground level water pollution.
