Today’s famous actor once had to work as a background model at fashion shows for actors, who have now fallen off the radar in the Hindi film industry.
An old photo of Deepika walking the ramp at a fashion show, where Fardeen Khan was the event’s showstopper, has gone viral. The event in question was in 2005 in Mumbai, when Deepika was trying to gain her foothold in the entertainment industry as a small time model. In the photo, Deepika (circled above) could be seen walking the ramp as one of many background models for Fardeen, who’s now slipped into an oblivion of sorts.
Deepika got married to actor Ranveer Singh last year in a lavish wedding ceremony in Italy’s Lake Como in December. The couple had then hosted two separate receptions in Bengaluru and Mumbai respectively with top Indian celebrities turning up at those functions.
