Last month, Nia had posted the photos of her see-through outfit from the Gold Awards. Soon after posting the photos, the actor was mercilessly trolled. In the photos (see below), Nia was seen wearing a body suit type white dress, which had a deep cut in the front from the neck to the waist. An organza like flowy white material was added at the waist to form a see through skirt.

No sooner had she posted the photos, she was faced with rude comments such as ‘shameless’ and ‘cheap’ by her fans.

Weeks later, the actor-model posted a video of in the same outfit on her Instagram page and the reaction from her fans was no different. She faced nasty trolling with many slamming her for seeking cheap publicity by posting scantly-clothed video.

One user wrote, “You are looking very dirty.” Another fan wrote, “This dress doesn’t suit you. You are so graceful but sometimes your dressing sense sucks!” One fan asked if she was competing with another TV actor, Shama Sikandar, when it came to exposing her body. He wrote, “Is there a competition between you and @shamasikander who will expose more? It was the simplicity and decency of you people that got you name and popularity and recognition in TV industry.”

Last time when she had faced online trolling, she had told a newspaper, “There was a lot of theatre and drama to the outfit. Red carpets call for some drama and when you get the chance, seize the day. I can’t go for the usual run-of-the-mill outfits. If I wear a regular-looking ensemble and look pretty, I feel it isn’t enough. When you walk the red-carpet, you need to step it up. I believe a girl is never overdressed.”
