IAS topper Tina Dabi Khan on Friday informed her fans that she had got stuck in office seemingly due to her additional commitments. But little did she realise that her innocuous post with a selfie will prompt her IAS topper husband Athar Aamir Khan to turn into a poet in admiration of his wife.
Tina, who proudly calls herself a Kashmiri bahu, wrote while sharing her selfie, “Stuck in office.” In the photo, Tina looked elegantly dressed in ethnic black suit with a parrot print multicolour dupatta. Some eagle-eyed among her fans were quick to comment just how she managed to look as fresh as a daisy even at the end of her day at office, while there were others who highlighted how the keratin effect was still showing in her hair. One user asked, “How can someone look so fresh nd gorgeous in office even.”
Among those who commented on her photo weren’t her usual fans on Instagram. Leading the pack was her IAS topper husband Athar Aamir Khan, who surprised everyone with his public display of love for his affable civil servant wife. Borrowing a couplet from a popular poetry, Athar wrote, “Unke Husn Ka Aalam Na Puchhiye, Bas Tasveer Ho Gaya Hun Tasveer Dekh Kar (Don’t ask me about the extent of her beauty, I myself have frozen like a photo while admiring her beauty).” Athar also signed off his public comments for his wife with a black heart emoticon, perhaps to match with his wife’s black outfit.
Tina is usually very prompt in interacting with her husband in the past, but on this occasion she remained non-committal. But she was seen commenting on her husband photo after Athar wrote, “When you get an opportunity to suit up and you take some weird selfies.!!” Tina teased him by saying, “My lovely weirdo.”
Tina was also very active on Twitter, where she congratulated this year’s IAS toppers. She wrote, “Many congrats to all the candidates who have cleared UPSC exam! Well done!”

Athar too extended his wishes to this year’s achievers as he wrote on Twitter, “Congratulations to everyone who made it to the final list of
#UPSC Civil Services Exam. For all those who couldn’t make it this year, don’t lose heart. There is always a next time. Rise and shine!”
In the results announced on Friday, Rajasthan’s Kanishak Kataria topped this year’s UPSC exams with another boy from his state, Akshat Jain, securing the All India 2nd ranking, while Junaid Ahmad grabbed the third position.
