Throwback video of Nita Ambani’s daughter-in-law Shloka Mehta dancing to hit track from Ranbir Kapoor-starrer film sets internet on fire

An old video of Shloka Mehta, Nita Ambani’s daughter-in-law, dancing to the tune of the popular track Balam Pichkari from Ranbir Kapoor-starrer Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani has gone viral on social media. In the video, Shloka is seen setting the stage on fire during a pre-wedding function of Isha Ambani.

Shloka is joined by Akash Ambani, now her husband, Radhika Merchant and her to-be husband Anant Ambani. Shloka is seen gracefully swaying to the music of the Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani song. While sharing the throwback video, the fan page of Shloka Mehta wrote that the daughter-in-law of Mukesh and Nita Ambani was performing at the sangeet  ceremony of Isha, who later went on to marry Anand Piramal.

The video starts with Shloka and Radhika performing but soon Akash and Anant too join their respective ladies to regale the audience.

The throwback video emerges weeks after Shloka was seen giving competition to mother-in-law Nita Ambani at a wedding function of Akash Ambani’s friend. As expected, fans are praising Shloka for her ‘cute dance’ skills.

Isha and Anand tied the knot on 12 December last year but the pre-wedding festivities lasted several days. The latest video in question was shot in Udaipur, where India’s richest family had organised a lavish party.

Among those celebrities attending the pre-wedding function in Udaipur (where Shloka performed her dance) last year were Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan, Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas, Katrina Kaif, Salman Khan, Karisma Kapoor, Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan, Janhvi Kapoor, Akshay Kumar, Varun Dhawan, John Abraham, Vidya Balan and Sidharth Roy Kapur, Anil and Sunita Kapoor, Raveena Tandon, Parineeti Chopra, Sachin and Anjali Tendulkar, Shaina NC, Sakshi and Ziva Dhoni and Aadar Jain, Hillary Clinton, Ranbir Kapoor, Aditya Roy Kapur, Rekha, Jacqueline Fernandez, Jaya Bachchan and Disha Patani.
