Taapsee Pannu’s epic response to Kangana Ranaut’s sister Rangoli Chandel, Varun Dhawan calls ‘Mulk’ star ‘naughty dadi’

Taapsee Pannu is known for her one-liner quirky tweets while dealing with trolls on social media. Seldom has the Mulk actress lost her cool even in the face of extreme provocation from her haters. The popular actress on Thursday was at her witty best when she decided to shut up Rangoli Chandel, Kangana Ranaut’s sister, with an epic tweet meant for actor Varun Dhawan.

This was after Varun praised the Saand Ki Aankh teaser, which was released on Thursday. Varun wrote on the microblogging site, “Proud of you Tushar (Hiranandani). Bringing real Indian heroes on the big screen. Best dadis.”

This prompted Taapsee to take a dig at Rangoli by asking Varun why he had not mentioned her name while praising the film. Taapsee wrote, “Arre Varun but u have not written our names ? y no appreciation for us ??? Why why why?”

She was taking a dig at Rangoli, who had recently slammed Varun for not mentioning Kangana’s name while appreciating the trailer of Judgemental Hai Kya. Poor Varun had to issue a clarification stating that he had no malice against Kangana Ranaut.

It seems Varun enjoyed Taapsee’s dig at Kangana’s sister as she replied, “Taapsee and Bhumi are naughty dadis.”

Rangoli had also called Taapsee a sasti copy of Kangana, evoking an angry reaction from Anurag Kashyap, who had called the former a desperate woman.

Last week, Rangoli had not liked the fact that Varun had not mentioned her sister’s name while commenting on Judgementall Hai Kya. She had tweeted, “Kangana ka bhi naam likh dete sir!! Wo bhi kisi ki bachi hai usne bhi mehnat ki hai!!! @varun_dhawan (sic).”

Varun had then replied, “Loving everyone from Satish sir, Hussain, Raj, and specially Kangana aur lead cast ka wohi amtlab tha maam. Best wishes (sic).”

Earlier, in a TV interview, Tapsee was asked if in view of Rangoli’s acidic remarks on twitter, should there be some sort of censor of the microblogging website. Pat came the reply; “No, they should not be any control of these accounts by Twitter, it is a matter of freedom of speech, it is up to the readers to react and form an opinion about such people.” On being asked if she was affected by Chandel’s remarks, she asked the interviewer if it looked like she was affected?”
