Sympathy pours in for Kapil Sharma after his new photo goes viral

Only a few weeks ago, Janta Ka Reporter had carried a feature highlighting on the fall of comedian-actor Kapil Sharma from being the most famous Indian TV personality to a person in desperate need of help.

Kapil Sharma

This was after the comedian was spotted outside the Mumbai airport with his dog. It soon emerged that once famous TV show host had left for Europe with girlfriend Ginni. While in Amsterdam, Kapil was spotted in a departmental store and his photo left her fans shocked.

His fans were aghast primarily because the deterioration in his physical appearance told a significant story of how his life had taken a turn for the worse. Attired in a hoody tracksuit and yellow T-shirt with a cricket cap on his head, Kapil appeared to be standing inside a supermarket in Amsterdam, when his photo was clicked. Kapil has clearly gained a lot of weight as evidently suggested by his protruding potbelly.

This has led fans wishing him ‘Get Well Soon’ on social media platforms.

Even though the comedian had promised his followers on Twitter to get back to his original shape, he appears to have struggled in fulfilling that promise. That’s because, a new photo of Kapil has gone viral again and there doesn’t appear to be any change in his health.

The new photo went viral after a user first posted it on Twitter. In the photo Kapil is desperately trying to smile with his dog. The hidden pain in him is almost evident for his well wishers to see. When the same photo was shared on Instagram, it drove his fans in thousands to almost plead him to return to TV even though there were many who blamed his ego for the downfall.

One fan on Twitter wrote, “Things to learn from Kapil Sharma show. Everything that rises has to fall. U can’t continue to rise or stay at the top by insulting others. Don’t break the ‘Winning Team & friends. Too much ego is bad for your health. It takes years to make a reputation and takes minutes to lose it.” Similar sentiments were expressed on Instagram too, but an overwhelming majority pleaded him to come back on TV.

One fan wrote, “Love you kapil tv aapke bina soona lgta hai. (Love you Kapil, TV looks boring without being there.)” Another fan wrote, “Life is all about up and down but never loose hope,do ur best one day definitely u’ll come in track..” “I am a fan of kapil sharma…and i am waiting for his show..and yes with previous cast (sic),” commented another.

A mid-air brawl with his trusted lieutenants namely Sunil Grover aka Doctor Mashood Gulati and Ali Asgar aka Nani had triggered the beginning of what was termed as Kapil’s end. Sunil and Ali quit the show along with Chandan Prabhakar and Sugandha Mishra. All four were the mainstay of his show.

His show suddenly started to lose the much-needed TRP, thereby adversely affecting both his health and the health of his TV show. Soon, he earned notoriety for not turning up for the shoot even as his top celebrity guests waited for him in utter exasperation.

This led to Sony TV taking the show off air. Kapil came with a reincarnated version of his show on the same channel few months later. But Family Time with Kapil Sharma lacked the spark that his previous shows had. This show did not last beyond three episodes. People familiar to him had said that the actor had slipped into deep depression by then. “That was the reason why he could not turn up for the shoot even for Family Time With Kapil,” one of his friends had said.
