Sunny Hindustani has made another sensational disclosure on Indian Idol judge Neha Kakkar, days after revealing why she rejected Aditya Narayan’s marriage proposal. The Indian Idol winner has said that not only did Neha lend him money to rent a decent house for himself and his mother, but she also took care of his stay in Mumbai during the early part of his Indian Idol journey.
Sunny told the Times of India that his family suffered enormously due to poverty before he took part in the Sony TV’s singing reality show. But, had it not been the generous help from Neha, he wouldn’t have been able to win the competition.
He said, “Neha di has supported me throughout. She even gave me money so I could stay in Mumbai. I wouldn’t have been here without her support. She has herself struggled a lot and therefore understood my situation.”
The contestant from Bhatinda in Punjab said that his dream was to sing a song composed by Oscar-winning AR Rahman adding that he will also like to sing for Salman Khan.
Sunny, who earned his livelihood by shining people’s shoes at a railway station, had recently revealed why Neha Kakkar rejected Aditya Narayan’s marriage proposals. Speaking to an entertainment portal, Sunny said, “We were very excited (about Neha’s rumoured wedding with Aditya). We had even bought clothes (for the wedding). We had even taken out a baraat (wedding procession) without knowing whether they will get married or the girl will accept the proposal or not. Finally, Neha di did not accept (the wedding proposal) and their wedding did not take place.”
Neha Kakkar is popular for singing Chalti Hai Kya 9 Se 12, Kala Chashma, Kar Gayi Chull, Manali Trance and Dilbar Redux. She will soon be seen singing for a music video featuring Asim Riaz and Jacqueline Fernandez.
