Sultan’s music composer, Vishal Dadlani, stays away from Arijit-Salman controversy

Famous music composer Vishal Dadlani has refused to be drawn into the controversy involving Arijit Singh and actor Salman Khan.

During the music launch of film Te3n, Vishal of Vishal-Shekhar duo, was asked to comment on the controversy. But the celebrated music director refused to comment.

Vishal’s first reaction, according to the news agency IANS, was, “What? On this film (‘Te3n’).”

However, when the journalist began to narrate the episode, Vishal interrupted saying, “Listen, you don’t have to give me the whole history; I’m happy to talk to you about it. But this is about ‘Te3n’, so stick with ‘Te3n’.”

When requested further to comment, he said, “I said what I needed to say right now. Thank you.”

Kyunki Tum Hi Ho.. singer Arijit Singh had taken an extraordinary step to publicly apologise to Superstar Salman Khan asking him to forgive him for the ‘insult’ caused by him in the past.

The singer also made a passionate plea asking the actor to retain his song in the actor’s next release, Sultan.

Arijit, in an award function in 2014, had allegedly insulted Salman when he went to pick up an award for Kyunki Tum Hi Ho.. song. While on stage, he had said, ‘aap ne to sula hi diya (You made me sleep)’ implying that the actor’s presence had caused him enough boredom.

Salman has not commented on this controversy but there are reports that Arijit may try to visit the actor’s house in Bandra to personally apologise.
