Dipika Kakar won Bigg Boss season 12 last month, but her conduct during the reality show earned her plenty of criticism as many accused her of being fake. Many had questioned her morality as she spent quality time alone with her so-called ‘brother’ and former Indian cricketer Sreesanth inside the Bigg Boss house.

Reacting to her win, Dipika had posted a heartfelt message on Instagram, “The proudest moment for me!!! As the top two contestants were #sreepika !!! Thank you bhai for being with me in this difficult journey…. no matter what we both were together in every situation standing by each other and this was our biggest strength!!! Already missing the Statue… the fights and the meals we had together in the house…. I am and will be your sister for life….. @sreesanthnair36.”

Now the TV actress and Bigg Boss winner is back in the news after a self-claimed Sreesanth fan threatened her on Twitter with an acid attack. The Twitter user, @viratkohli02, posted a nasty tweet while issuing chilling threats to Dipika. The user called her a ‘lowly’ person while making fun of her being married before. He went on to add that he was attacking only her personal life now but will throw acid on her whenever he met her in Mumbai.

The post was soon reported to the Mumbai Police. The tweet by a parody account of Dipika Kakar read, “Dear @MumbaiPolice this guy is threatening to throw acid on lady…Please arrest him early as possible. Please RT and Spread so this post can reach to @MumbaiPolice.”

The news of Dipika’s win had angered Sreesanth’s manager, Ronita Krishna Sharma, who had angrily tweeted to Colors TV, “From next time plz choose only dignified people n do satsang instead of biggboss, or maybe do a dipika mata ka halwa show @ms_dipika u r not deserving at all. Fake winner of a fake show ! Partial n favoured! I hope u sleep in peace after this non deserving win!”

Sreesantrh’s wife, however, had asked fans of her husband to not get disheartened. The former India cricketer had emerged as the first runners-up in the reality show.
