Actor Shoaib Ibrahim has broken his silence on a range of controversies surrounding his wife Dipika Kakar ever since the latter moved into the Bigg Boss season 12 house. Dipika, already a famous TV actress, has emerged as one of the strongest competitors on the reality TV show.
However, she has also had to face attacks from fellow contestants on a number of issues. She was called a witch during the Samundri Lootere task by Jasleen Matharu and Khan sisters. She was recently slammed by Deepak Thakur inside the show as he asked Sreesanth to take a stand against Dipika.
Dipika’s husband Shoaib has broken his silence on these issues stating that he had now lost respect for Deepak Thakur. He told Times Now, “Honestly, I used to like Deepak a lot. But in the recent episode, when he kept instigating Sree against Dipika despite Sree telling him that the conflict is resolved, Deepak kept saying that it cannot get resolved this quickly and he has to take a stand. After that particular incident, I lost all respect for him. It’s not necessary to get two people to fight to play this game. There will be fights in the house everyday but there will also be friendships and reconciliation in the house every day. Dipika was mature and smart enough to go talk to Sreesanth herself. She cleared the air around whatever happened and even Sree understood her.”
Shoaib, who got married to Dipika earlier this year, also revealed how his family reacted to his wife being called names by contestants. He said that his family members were happy with how Dipika was playing the game. “In the Samundri Lootere task, housemates called her a witch and gave her so many other names, but Dipika chose to ignore all of it. This is something we loved the most.” he added.
When asked what gift he would like to send to Dipika inside the house, Shoaib said, “I wish I could go meet her and be her gift. I miss her a lot.”
