Shirish Kunder’s Kriti was released online on Wednesday with the director’s debut short film evoking overwhelmingly positive response on social media.
Kriti, which means creation, has Manoj Bajpayee and Radhika Apte in lead roles and it revolves around a man and his relationship with ‘three women.’
The gripping movie, under 19 minutes in duration, keeps you on the edge of your seat until the end.
Kirti was Shirish’s maiden attempt to try on a serious genre after having made his debut in Bollywood through masala entertainment.
The director, who enjoys considerable, popularity for his wit and unique take on political goings on, had shared the first look of the film last month.
No sooner was the film made available online, celebrity social media users both from the film industry and the world of politics began to praise the filmmaker for his splendid work with some even suggesting that Kriti could well have worked as a full length feature film.
