Bollywood megastar Shah Rukh Khan has made a stunning confession stating that he had no films with him ‘right now.’ His revelation has come after the actor’s last film Zero bombed at the box office.
“I have no film with me right now. I am not working on any film. Usually what happens is when your one film is coming to an end, you begin work on your next film and I get involved within 3-4 months. But this time I am just not feeling like…My heart doesn’t allow me to..I just felt that I should rather take time out, watch films, listen to stories and read more books,” Shah Rukh was quoted by Filmfare.
Shah Rukh, also known as SRK to his fans, said that with his children in college, he wanted to spend time with his family. There were rumours of Shah Rukh Khan being in talks with the makers of Rakesh Sharma’s biopic Saare Jahaan Se Accha before being linked to Sanjay Leela Bhansali for his directorial project based on the life of Sahir Ludhianvi. There were also reports that he will be returning with Don 3.
His latest confession on not having a single film at his disposal has put an end to all rumours.
Shah Rukh’s last four films, Dilwale, Dear Zundagi, Fan and Zero have failed to create magic at the box office. It’s not clear whether the decision to not take any more projects now is also linked to a series of failures that he’s had to cope up with.
