Shah Rukh Khan had quite a hectic last few days since the Bollywood megastar celebrated his 53rd birthday. Hundreds of his fans had gathered outside his residence, Mannat, to greet the actor. Shah Rukh too had not disappointed them as he turned up to greet them from the balcony. His birthday celebrations were marred by a tragic event after one of his fans slip his throat as he failed to meet his star.
Shah Rukh’s birthday celebrations also coincided with the release of Zero’s trailer, which has now clocked more than 50 million views on YouTube alone. King Khan then held his routine #AskSRK session on the microblogging site, where he answered questions posed by his die-hard fans. This was then followed by a star-studded Diwali party that the megastar hosted.
On Monday night, Gauri Khan posted a video of actor Sidharth Malhotra’s house highlighting the turnaround her intervention had caused on the interior. She wrote, “Thank u for the lovely virtual tour Sid… the house is looking great in the video! #GauriKhanDesigns @S1dharthM”
In the video, Sidharth is heard giving a tour of his house, designed by Gauri. The video ends with Sidharth pointing to a woman sitting on a hammock in his balcony. “And that’s Gauri Khan, the reason my house is looking so cool. Thank you Gauri,” Sidharth is heard saying while pointing towards Gauri.
Moments later, Shah Rukh commented claiming that the hammock in the video was his. He wrote, “That hammock in the video is mine!!! U guys stole it!!by the way house looks lovely..but the hammock..damn!”

This is not the first time, Shah Rukh has taken a quirky potshot at his wife on a public platform. In July, when Gauri had posted a photo of her lunch date with daughter Suhana from New York with a caption ‘New York Times,’ Shah Rukh had commented, “NYTimes is carrying great news.”
The same month, when Gauri posted a photo of three children from a European holiday trip, Shah Rukh had commented, “Just laying claim. The pic is by paparazzo!” This, many of his fans had concluded, was the first time SRK had commented on anyone’s photo on Instagram.
Shah Rukh Khan’s next film is going to be Zero, which has Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma, among others, in lead roles. Directed by Aanand L. Rai, the film features Shah Rukh as a vertically challenged man and will be releasing on 21 December.
