Savage Varun Dhawan shuts up troll after he advises actor to make India proud

Varun Dhawan was at his best in shutting up a troll, who raised objections at the Bollywood actor promoting a Hollywood film by using his social media page.

Varun Dhawan

This was after Varun took to Twitter to praise Hobbs And Shaw starring Dwayne Johnson. Varun wrote, “Watched #HobbsAndShaw. It’s great fun in the cinema. @TheRock really brings its. Loved the homage paid to the Samoan culture. The London chase sequence has to be the best.”

While no one had any objection with Varun’s tweet, one troll, identified as Akshay Mhetar, lectured the actor for promoting a non-Indian film. He also advised Varun to focus on making meaningful films instead of promoting a Hollywood film. The troll wrote, “Instead of promoting #Hollywood movies And Giving americans money please raise our movie quality instead of masala movies that u do… Make Some Content driven films.. Also Promote Good Bollywood Movies Which Remain Unnotified..Make India Proud.”

The troll in question was an insignificant individual with less than 30 followers and yet Varun decided to take him to the task as he wrote, “Maybe you should not have Harry Potter as your profile picture when you try to teach people what to do son. Now go to bed.”

Meanwhile, Dwayne also responded to Varun’s tweet calling him the best as he wrote, “Mahalo brother and glad you loved it. You’re the best.”

The Kalank star found plenty of support from his fans, who lashed out at the user by reminding him about some of the notable films featuring Varun including Sui Dhaaga, October and Badlapur.
