Simmba has maintained its good show even a week after its release both in India and the global markets. The film has collected nearly Rs 140 crore in just six days in India, while its earning in the overseas market has been estimated at Rs 55 crore. When combines, the collective earning of the film in less than a week has almost touched the Rs 200 crore mark. This is set to become the highest earning film for Ranveer Singh and he has a lot to thank Sara Ali Khan for this much-needed success.

Giving the breakdown of Simmba’s performance, Bollywood trade analyst Taran Adarsh wrote, “#Simmba is a SMASH HIT… Continues to collect in double digits, even after New Year celebrations have ended… This one is not slowing down soon… Fri 20.72 cr, Sat 23.33 cr, Sun 31.06 cr, Mon 21.24 cr, Tue 28.19 cr, Wed 14.49 cr. Sara Ali Khan’s debut film Kedarnath too has done exceedingly well at the box office. She had first two movies of her career released within a month. The back-to-back success of Kedarnath and Simmba is certain to catapult Sara to a new stardom in Bollywood. Buoyed by the success of her first two films, Sara recently uploaded a boomerang of herself with the Simmba team.

Ranveer too could not have expected for a better wedding gift since this was his first film after he tied the knot with Deepika Padukone last year.
