Salman Khan’s ‘Sultan’ to hit cinemas on 6 July


Indian superstar Salman Khan’s much awaited film Sultan will release on Wednesday, 6 July.

Director Ali Abbas Zafar took to Twitter to confirm the release date of the film which was scheduled to open on Eid.

“Sultan will release on 6th July 2016,” Zafar tweeted.

Produced by Yash Raj Films, the movie revolves around Haryanvi wrestler Sultan Ali Khan, and his quest to prove himself after he hits the rock bottom in his career.

“Sultan” also stars Anushka Sharma as Aarfa.

The director shared the title track of the film as well, sung by Sukhwinder Singh.

Salman’s last outing was “Prem Ratan Dhan Payo,” which released last year on Diwali.
