The much-awaited trailer of Loveratri is out. Superstar Salman Khan, whose home productions, Salman Khan Films, has produced the film, took to his social media pages to make the announcement on Monday.
Salman decided to post his message for his millions of fans in Hindi, English, Gujarati and Urdu. He wrote, “Loveratri – Yeh kahaani hai pyaar aur mohabbat ki! Aapke liye (Loveratri, this story about love and for you.).”

The movie had courted some controversy in the past as a little-known Hindutva group took objection to the film title, which sounds similar to popular Hindu festival Navratri. On Monday too, some fans made sure they expressed their displeasure once again. One fan wrote, “You didn’t get any other title? Why are you hell bent on hurting the sentiments of Hindu religion?”
However, not everyone shared this user’s sentiment as the overwhelming response was of excitement. They greeted him with comments such as ‘All the best’ and ‘This is bound to be a super hit.’
In Loveratri, Salman is launching his brother-in-law Aayush Sharma in a lead role opposite Warina Hussain. The film is set to release on 5 October next month.
In June this year, a local leader of a Hindutva outfit floated by former Vishwa Hindu Praishad’s international president, Pravin Togadia, had announced a cash reward for anyone who could thrash Bollywood superstar Salman Khan. He was incensed over Salman’s alleged attempts to distort Navratri.
