Rishi Kapoor reacts on Twitter over beef ban in Mumbai


After actresses, Sonam Kapoor and Sonakshi Sinha, Bollywood actor Rishi Kapoor took to twitter on Wednesday against the week-long ban on beef in Mumbai during the Jain festival. He also about Radhe Maa in his comment which he made a little late due to his extended family holiday in Europe.

The 63-year old actor tweeted:

The actor is very fond of food and it seems like he has not taken the beef ban positively. The actor took to the micro-blogging site, Twitter to express his outburst. Rishi tweeted, “I am angry. Why do you equate food with religion?? I am a beef eating Hindu. Does that mean I am less God fearing then a non-eater? Think!!”

Moreover, according to a report on Bollywoodlife.com, actress Anushka Sharma, recently gave up meat for the love of animals because she is an “animal lover” but then, she does not seem to support the beef ban imposed in Maharashtra.

She said that the beef ban does not affect her much since she has turned vegetarian, but she’s against the ban as it’s taking away someone’s food.
