Rani Mukherjee will be seen on the cover of Vogue India‘s August issue titled ‘The Age (Less) Issue’. The actress, who stunned all with her impressive performance in Mardaani last year, has featured on the cover of Vogue magazine in a never-seen-before avatar.
In an interview to Vogue India, Rani spoke about life post marriage, her choice of films and her future plans. She has lost weight and is looking ultra glamorous on the cover of Vogue. Her look seems to be inspired from her 2007 movie Laaga Chunari Mein Daag.
The news of Rani being the cover girl for Vogue India August 2015 was released by the Conde Nast magazine on their Instagram. The 37-year-old ageless beauty, who is married to popular filmmaker Aditya Chopra, looks stunning in a sleeveless floral Dolce & Gabbana summer dress paired with a forest green cardigan. The actress topped her look, just like Kajol on Elle magazine cover, with dark red lips and kept her hair to the side.
Vogue’s cover story will go through two decades of Rani in Bollywood, as well as her 45 movies and fairy-tale wedding.
After her Vogue Beauty Awards appearance this summer, where she was decked up in a black dress and adorned prominent sindoor on her forehead, nobody expected Rani to look so glamorous in just a couple of months. To everybody’s astonishment, however, Rani looked amazingly stunning on the cover page like she did in her films of early-twenties.
Rani has always been appreciated for her effortless acting and for getting into the skin of her characters. At the same time, this director’s wife has never advocated the ideal definition of beauty. She has been voluminous, boasting of a graceful curvy body and has always taken pride in it. However, after taking a look at her recent cover shoot, one can feel the ‘parameters of beauty’ sunk in.
