Robert Vadra faces incessant trolling for mistaking Paraguay’s national flag as Indian tricolour

Priyanka Gandhi Vadra’s husband Robert Vadra had to face considerable trolling on Sunday after he shared a photo of his inked finger indicating that he had voted in Delhi. Delhi’s seven parliamentary seats went to polls on Sunday.

Robert Vadra

While posting the photo of his inked finger, Vadra, who’s the brother-in-law of Congress President Rahul Gandhi, wrote, “Our right our strength!! Everyone must step out n vote…we need all support, to create a combined future for our loved ones, n for a secular, safe, productive future for our country.” He concluded his message with an emoji of tricolour without realising that the flag he shared was in fact the national flag of Paraguay.

Within moments of Vadra sharing the photo, he began to face incessant trolling with users ridiculing the husband of AICC Gneral Secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra for mistaking the Paraguayan national flag as the Indian tricolour.

Left red-faced, Vadra deleted his post and replaced with an identical message but Indian flag.

But this did not stop Twitterati from taking potshots at Vadra.
