Shahid Kapoor’s wife Mira Rajput on Thursday shared two photos of her husband to throw a ’16 year challenge’ at her fans only to get teased by her brother-in-law Ishaan Khattar.
The photos of Shahid used by Mira included one still (see below) from the latter’s debut film Ishq Vishq, released in 2003. While the other photo was a still taken from Shahid’s upcoming film Kabir Singh. Mira’s caption ’16 year challenge’ sought to capture Shahid’s journey in Bollywood since making his debut in 2003.
No sooner did she share her Instagram post, Ishaan was once again one of the first to comment. He teased his sister-in-law by writing in Hindi, “Khel Khallas (Game over).” While Mira did not respond to Ishaan’s quirky comment, many fans of Shahid Kapoor were seen disagreeing with the Dhadak actor saying that ‘Shahid’s game was not yet over.’ Others said that Shahid’s game had ‘just begun.’
Filmmaker Pragya Yadav wrote, “Omg!!! Well I guess it’s more with or without beard ? @shahidkapoor you look the same!!!”
Shahid Kapoor’s debut film Ishq Vish opposite Amrita Rao was about college romance and the film catapulted him to instant stardom. Since then, his career has experienced a meteoric rise in the Hindi film industry. Shahid and Mira now have two children, Misha and Zain Kapoor.
On Thursday, it was also reported that the couple had turned entrepreneurs after they invested in Indian yoga and wellness startup SARVA, joining Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez and a host of others in making yoga-based wellness a part of modern lifestyle. A report by Times of India quoted Shahid as saying, “My personal journey with fitness and wellness began over 2 decades ago when I was a fresh-faced teenager.”
Mira too had taken to Instagram to promote Sarva by hinting at the couple’s new association with the start-up.
On the work front, Shahid’s next film Kabir Singh is set to release on 21 June. The film is a Hindi remake of the hit Telugu film, Arjun Reddy.
