Mahesh Bhatt, the director of Hamari Adhuri Kahani, is returning back on small screen as a host, after a decade, with his new show Khwabon ka Safar with Mahesh Bhatt.

The show is scheduled to start in October this year and will showcase the history of various Bollywood studios and films which were shot in those studios.

Speaking about his new show, the director and host, Bhatt said that his “thirst to know about the dream merchants who existed before his foray into Bollywood is what drew him to the said show”.

He emphasized that it’s important for people to know about the “roots”of Bollywood which will make them “sharp and intent”.

According to reports, the show will feature the history of studios like Raj Kamal studios, Filmistan studios, RK studios, Filmalaya studios, Prabhat studios amongst others.

However, this is not the first time that Mahesh Bhatt will be hosting a show. Prior to this, Bhatt used to host a show called, Haqeeqat on Sahara TV (now Sahara One) in 2001. The show which was filmed on cases based on human rights violation, had earned the highest number of TRP (of 8 points) in Mumbai.
