The disco-funk duo Madboy/Mink is ready with a new EP, Union Farm, as reported by Rolling Stone India.

The duo comprising of singer Saba Azad and instrumentalist & backing vocal Immad Shah, had been shying away from the question of their upcoming EP for a long time.

Saba Azad told GQ magazine that Union Farm takes a “harder look at the funk and old school blues and disco – a no-rubbish, no-frills, completely unadulterated vision of our evolving sound”. Shah adds,“(It) draws from late 1960s-70s, but not necessarily funk ones.”

After the success of their first album, All Ball and the featuring of the track ‘Calcutta Kiss’ in the film Byomkesh Bakshi, Madboy/Mink is all set to perform some new and pacier records.

The duo will be performing at Anti Social in Delhi on June 5, 2015.
