IAS topper Tina Dabi Khan too took to Instagram to share her pain on the death of CRPF jawans in the Pulwama terror attack in Jammu and Kashmir. The IAS topper, who’s now married to fellow IAS topper from Kashmir, Athar Aamir Khan, wrote, “I hope to strive every single day towards becoming more worthy of your sacrifices, my soldier.”
She ended her message with a note that read, “Rest in peace.”
Tina, who originally hails from Delhi, had topped the IAS exam in 2016 before falling in love with Athar, who had secured the All India 2nd rank the same year. Both tied the knot last year, prompting Tina to declare herself as a Kashmiri bahu and added Khan in her surname.
Tina was appointed as the SDM of Bhilwara in Rajasthan last year. Also joining him in the same district was her husband, who too was posted in the same district as an SDO, which is an SDM equivalent designation.
The news of Pulwama terror attack killing 42 CRPF soldiers has sent a shockwave across the world with India still remaining in a state of mourning. The news evoked strong reactions from citizens, while Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan and Mukesh Ambani’s Reliance Foundation announced generous helps for the victims of the deadliest terror attack on India’s armed forces.
While Bachchan pledged a financial support of Rs 5 lakh each to the families of each slain soldier, Reliance Foundation said that it will take ‘full responsibility’ for the education and employment of the children of fallen soldiers.
