Kapil Sharma reportedly plans to return on TV, with rival Krushna Abhishek

Days after comedian-actor Kapil Sharma was spotted with family and friends during Raksha Bandhan festival, several media reports have confirmed that he was planning to stage a comeback on TV with new series of Kapil Sharma Show.

“I can assure my fans that I will be back soon with another season of The Kapil Sharma Show. The show has the same effect on the viewers and it would really love to take it forward. However, it is at a very initial stage,” Peepingmoon quoted a statement from Kapil.

Meanwhile, another media outlet reported that his return on TV with be with rival Krushna Abhishek. A report by NewsX said that comedians Bharti Singh and Krushna too will join Kapil for the new show. Quoting a source, the channel claimed that the makers of the show had already selected Krushna and Bharti, but they decided to rope in Kapil also later.

Kapil had reportedly slipped into depression after Sony TV took of two of his shows in succession due to rapidly falling TRPs. This was after several key members of his popular show, Kapil Sharma Show, stunned him by quitting the team in protest against his alleged unruly behaviour mid-air.

Although, he tried to persuade Sunil Grover, but it was too late. This led to Kapil routinely betraying his guests by not turning up for the shoots, resulting in the fall of the show’s TRP. He returned with a new show on Sony, Family Time with Kapil Sharma, but it failed to charm his fans, leading to its axing too.

The comedian was recently spotted outside the Mumbai airport and in Europe during vacation and in both his photos, he looked beyond recognition. His fans had begung desperately praying for his recovery as many said that the once-popular comedian had slipped into depression.

He hit media headlines for all sorts of wrong reasons including when the audio of his abuses to an online portal journalist went viral.
