Amidst the raging debate on Aamir Khan-starrer Thugs of Hindostan, a unique review of the film by an unnamed user has gone viral on social media platforms. In the video, a man is seen angrily sharing his bitter experience after watching the much-anticipated film, which also stars Amitabh Bachchan, Katrina Kaif and Fatima Sana Shaikh.
In the video, the man is heard saying, “Rs 500 fuc**ng in watching the Shehenshah of Bollywood and Mr Perfectionist of Bollywood together on screen. And the movie turns out to be a disaster. The director should leave directing films and drive lorries. Stop torturing us in theatres.. Utter useless. Such a good concept and such a good team, and yet he destroyed the film.”
The man then advises Aditya Chopra of Yashraj Film, the producer of Thugs of Hindostan, stating that he ought to have used Rs 300 crore in buying 300 lorries instead of investing it in the film. This, he adds, would have enabled the producers to make more profit.
Continuing his outrage against the director, the man says, “What talent does this director have. He has given just two item songs to Katrina Kaif, who has 15 million Instagram followers. Amitabh Bachchan’s eagle and his periscope have more roles than Katrina Kaif.”
He then singles out the music composer Ajay Atul for his attack. “Ajay Aatul is the music director of the film. The sound track is so awful in the film. I expected a lot from Ajay Atul because I have been following his Sairaat movie.”
Tweeting the video, user Sachin Avenger wrote, “#ThugsOfHindostan Review Genuine by a Fan… Looks like Jr Arnab Goswami.”

Despite poor reviews by critics, Thugs of Hindostan has smashed all box office records with its first day’s collection. The film has collected more than Rs 50 crore on the first day of its release.
Bollywood trade analyst Taran Adarsh said that the first day’s earnings by Thugs of Hindostan was a record in many ways. He wrote, “#ThugsOfHindostan smashes *all records* [Hindi films] as it breaches ₹ 50 cr on *Day 1*… Sets new BENCHMARKS in some circuits… Big holiday [#Diwali] + tremendous hype + massive screen count help put up a SENSATIONAL TOTAL…”
