Janhvi Kapoor on Sunday took to her social media page to share a piece of nostalgia as she posted a childhood memory of hers with mother Sri Devi. The legendary actress had died under mysterious circumstances in Dubai in February last year.
Last year, Janhvi’s first Mother’sS Day pic with mother Sri Devi had left her fans in tears even though the Dhadak actress’ Instagram photo had no caption. On Sunday, to mark the second Mother’s Day since Sri Devi’s death, Janhvi shared another childhood memory of her with her mother as she wrote, “Cherish them, listen to them, give them all the love in the world ❤️ Happy Mother’s Day.”
Fans reacted overwhelmingly as many said that Janhvi’s social media post had brought tears in their eyes. One fan wrote, “This is the only picture i love in your gallery…? tears out.” Another fan wrote, “Awwww!! This made me cry! Happy Mother’s Day to this amazing lady up there.” Another called her an angel when she wrote, “Noone really knows how you are coping with this loss at such a young age. But I just wanna say I am super proud of you for stepping our daily and getting your work done. Your mom is super super proud of you and is super happy with your work. You are an angel.”
Janhvi was busy with the shooting of the final leg of her debut film Dhadak, when the unfortunate event occurred. The film went on to cross Rs 100 crore business at the box office. The film also had Ishaan Khattar in the lead role. There have been rumours that the two are dating each other.
Since then, Janhvi has also signed another Karan Johar film Takht and appeared on Koffee With Karan withhalf brother Arjun Kapoor. Her appearance on Koffee.. had become controversial after her half sister Anshula Kapoor began to get rape threats because of biases in favour of Arjun Kapoor during a contest on the show.
