Another of Glen Maxwell’s fiery innings on the second One Day International against India at the Sydney Cricket Ground has caused another meme fest on Twitter with former India cricketer Wasim Jaffer borrowing a famous line from Naseeruddin Shah’s film to take a potshot at KL Rahul. Jaffer was the batting coach of Kings Xi Punjab, which was captained by Rahul in the just-concluded IPL.
Maxwell, who failed to impress fans both with his batting and bowling while playing for Kings XI Punjab in the IPL, was on fire against India during the second ODI. He remained not out at 63, which he took just 29 balls to score with his knock including four boundaries and as many sixes.
In the first ODI, the Australian all-rounder had made 45 runs by facing just 19 balls.
Reacting to Maxwell’s knock, Jaffer tweeted a photo of Naseeruddin Shah with a famous dialogue from his film which read, “Gunaah Hai Yeh (This is a sin).”
