Former Bigg Boss contestant and TV actress Hina Khan on Monday announced that she had left for Paris understandably to walk the red carpet of this year’s Cannes film festival. This followed a series of Insta stories that she shared of her escapades inside the Paris-bound flight. This led to incessant trolling from her fans with many cursing her for disrespecting the Holy month of Ramadan for Muslims.

Reacting to her photo next to the Eiffel Tower, one fan wrote, “Ye @realhinakhan khabees badzaat aurat roza bhi nai rakhti.. Ok na rakho bhar m jao hamari bala se.. Lkn atleast stories to na lagao… Lanat(This lowly woman doesn’t even fast. Ok, don’t fast. This doesn’t bother us. But at least don’t post such Insta stories. Curse on you.)” Another fan commented, “Wah hina di aap ko ramzaan roze bhi nhi yaad h kya 1 roza rakh lena bachcho ki trha (Great Hina di, you did not even remember the fasts of Ramadan. At least, you should have kept one fast like a child.)” “Ramadan Mubarak Ka mahina Saal me ek Baar hi aata mis hina ek Baar bhi ni suna Apke muh se Ramadan Mubarak,” commented another fan.

Last year too, Hina had faced incessant trolling from her Muslim fans who accused her of disrespecting the Holy month by sharing provocative outfits.

Hina on Sunday shot the final episode of her TV series Kasautii Zindagii Kay, where she was playing the role of Komolika. On quitting the show, Hina wrote an emotional post thanking her well wishers, who contributed to her success in her journey as an actress.

“I am thankful to everyone in the phenomenal journey that I have had cruising at higher and higher altitudes, to all those who caused and helped me face the turbulence along the way and to all those who wished me a safe and successful landing. Because at the end of the day being grounded is all that I seek,” Hindustan Times quoted her statement.
