American actor Bella Thorne has earned plaudits for her decision to post her own nude photos that her hacker accessed to blackmail her. Taking to Twitter, Bella wrote that she was sharing the nude photos ofherself to regain control from her hacker.
She wrote, “Yesterday as u all know all my sh** was hacked. For the last 24 hours I have been threatened with my own nudes. I feel gross, I feel watched, I feel someone has taken something from me that I only wanted one special person to see.”
Bella added that her blackmailer had sent her ‘multiple nude photos of other celebs’ adding that he would not stop and ‘just keep doing.’ Referring to how she was sexually abused when she was in her teens, Bella wrote, “For too long, I let a man take advantage of me over and over and I’m fu**ing sick of it. I’m putting this out because it’s MY DECISION. NOW U DON’T GET TO TAKE YET ANOTHER THING FROM ME.”
Bella wrote that she was convinced that she will sleep well ‘tonight’ better knowing ‘I took my power back.’ “You can’t control my life, u never will.” she wrote.
21-year-old Bella, who shot to fame as a Disney star, has been busy promoting her book The Life of A Wannabe Mogul. She claimed that the book has been topping the Best Sellers’ list for a number of weeks.
Her decision has earned her plaudits from Twitterati. One wrote, “Babe dont let them control you. We are all here for you. We got you. Karma will find its way.” “yea like these are normal photos that every girl has of themself in their phone, but being. celebrity makes it “scandalous” nothing wrong w thinkin ur sexy. (sic)”
