Deepika Padukone has been in the news for her planned wedding in November with actor Ranveer Singh as the Padmaavat stars appear set to tie the knot.

Both actors were recently in the news after a fan in Florida’s Disneyland sensationally alleged that they had yelled at her because of her request for a photo with them.

Deepika, who was in a relationship with Ranbir Kapoor before their high-profile split some years ago, posted a throwback photo of herself with her ex-boyfriend to mark World Photography Day on Sunday. In the photo, Deepika is seen clicking Ranbir, who appears to been sitting on a mountain top.

Now this was a cute photo given that there was never bad blood between Deepika and Ranbir even after their split. They even worked together in two movies Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani in 2013 and Tamasha in 2015.

But little did Deepika realise that her decision to share a seemingly cute throwback photo will make her the subject of incessant trolling on social media. One fan wrote disparagingly, “They call you cheapika for a reason. Still finding a reason to post pic with your ex. RK did the right thing by kicking you out of his life. Creep.” Another fan commented, “Was scrolling down your bio, trying to find a single photo with Ranveer. But guess what, I found another photo of you with your ex.” “You don’t deserve Ranveer. Leave him Deepika and go back to the cheater.”

Last week, after weeks of speculation, actor Kabir Bedi had confirmed that Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone will have their wedding in November. Bedi was reacting to a report by Filmfare magazine, which stated the guest list of the Padmaavat stars’ planned wedding for 20 November at Lake Como in Italy. According to the website, a source close to the couple had confirmed that the wedding will have only ‘close ones’ present in Italy.
