The Bigg Boss 12 house on Tuesday continued to feel the effect of the reported romance between Deepak Thakur and Somi Khan. Although, Somi has not yet reciprocated Deepak’s feelings for her, this did not stop the boy from Bihar from continuing to express his love for her.
Deepak, who entered the reality show as a commoner, has emerged as a very popular contestant. On Monday, his public confession of love for Somi Khan had become a huge talking point. Deepak had called Somi his ideal girl, even though the latter refused to reciprocate his feelings. Instead, she promised to find a good girl for him.
On Tuesday, there were plenty of conversations about Deepak’s one-sided love for Somi as other housemates teased the contestant from Bihar by linking him with Somi. What also added to the conversation surrounding their ‘love story’ was the former Bigg Boss contestant Vikas Gupta, who entered with the winner of the last year’s show, Shilpa Shinde.
Vikas told Somi, “I am telling you the truth. You are being addressed as Bihar Ki Bhabhi.” “Are you serious?” asked Somi. To which, Vikas reiterated that everyone was in awe of you since ‘Deepak, the prince of Bihar, loved you.’ Somi replied, “And what about my preference. Does it not matter if I like him or not?”
Vikas told the housemates that hashtag on Deepak and Somi’s romance was trending as the topic dominated the conversations outside the house. Somi reacted in disbelief and sought to confirm if Vikas was indeed telling the truth.
Somi later told Romil that she was upset with so much conversations surrounding Deepak’s one-sided romance.
Earlier in the show, Deepak had called Somi to the Bigg Boss Well and said, “You have beautiful eyes, beautiful hair and I really like your behaviour.” Somi simply chose to ignore by asking, “is your bakwaas over?”
Elsewhere, Deepak continued to regale the housemates with his jokes. On Tuesday, Karanvir Bohra became his target as he mocked the TV actor’s repeated nominations for eviction. Deepak said, “KV bhai’s photo has appeared here (under nominated category) so many times that he will now feature on the notes of Rs 5,00 and Rs 1,000.” His comments caused a burst of laughter among the housemates. Deepak continued,”And even on those notes, his photo will have ‘nominated’ written.” The housemates were once again in splits.
Deepak’s jokes on Rs 500 and Rs 1,000 notes assumed significance in light of the upcoming second anniversary of the demonetisation announcement of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. On 8 November, Modi had made a shock announcement by declaring Rs 500 and Rs 1,000 notes illegal.
