According to reports, the three multiplexes, PVR, Bharath Cinemas and Cinepolis will screen the movie on the first day of the New Year.

Activist Vidya Dinker, who had launched a lone fight against the acts of Bajrang Dal ‘goons’ was faced with the threats of rape and acid attack on social media platform.

Following her complaint, the local police had arrested one Bajrang Dal member.

Meanwhile, Karnataka’s Congress-led government has decided to transfer the city police chief, Murugan, replacing him with Chandra Sekhar.

The state government had come under severe attack for being soft on right wing Hindu groups.

Meanwhile, Vidya said that her fight against the right wing bigots will continue adding that the multiplexes decision was ‘a good start to 2016.’
