Bollywood actress Mouni Roy had a lucky escape on Wednesday after a rock fell on her car from the 11th floor of a Mumbai Metro’s construction site in Juhu. Although, Mouni escaped unhurt, the freak accident left her car severely damaged.
An angry Mouni took to Twitter to post the video of her damaged car as she wrote, “Was on my way to work at Juhu signal a huge rock falls on the car 11 floors up. cant help but think what if anybody was crossing the road. Any suggestions as to what to be done with such irresponsibility of the mumbai metro?”

Mouni was on her way to attend the trailer launch of her upcoming film Made in China when the accident took place. The video showed a giant hole in her car’s sunroof as the camera also showed the building from where the rock had fallen.
She found plenty of support her fans, who appeared equally angry over what had just happened to their star. One wrote, “An FIR should be filed against the contractor for danger to public safety and not following safety procedures.” Another commented, “Hope you are safe! Yes nets are provided in such construction zones, why there is no such arrangements is a question!” “Well what you can do is file a suit of negligence against mumbai metro, demand not just compensation but also redressal mechanism to entertain such cases in future,” commented another Twitter user.
Earlier on Wednesday, Mouni had shared a photo of her outfit that she was going to wear for the trailer launch of Made in China.
Made in China also stars Rajkummar Rao in the lead along with Gajraj Rao, Paresh Rawal, Boman Irani and Sumeet Vyas among others. The film is scheduled to release this Diwali.
