Remember Tanushree Dutta, the former Miss India, who went on to act in a series of films such as Aashiq Banaya AapneChocolate, Raqeeb, Dhol, Risk and Good Boy, Bad Boys starting from 2005.

Her last film was Apartment in 2010 before she went into political oblivion. She was recently spotted and her photo simply went viral. Her current physical shape would hardly make anyone believe that this former beauty queen was adjudged the Femina Miss India in 2004.

The above photos were taken from the Mumbai Airport after she arrived from the US after a gap of two years. In fact, while announcing her arrival in India, Tanushree had confessed that she was very nervous about returning to her motherland. In an interview, Tanushree had said that she had just received her Green Card in the US adding that she had no idea why she had returned to India.

While in the US, she has been studying religion and spiritualism.

One of her fans posted a throwback photo of her to remind just how she looked only a few years ago.

She said that material success wasn’t everything in life. In a veiled dig at Deepika Padukone, she said that there were many successful actresses who were ‘on top of their career still remained depressed.’ “If someone is happy with less, why should it bother people. I am quite content and happy. Someone has reached the top in Bollywood and they still remain in depression,” she said.

She said that she did not miss the first 4-5 years after moving to the US since she focussed more on learning spirituality and about different religions. “I learned about Buddhism and Christianity. I also did a lot of modelling while endorsing and advising on new Asian brands in the US,” she said.
