The intelligence unit of the Indian Army has issued an advisory to its personnel asking them to be careful of an Instagram user ‘OyeSomya.’
This is because the army suspects the user to be an enemy spy, reported news agency ANI adding that the Instagram user in question may be trying to target Army officers and special forces’ troops.

Last year, an Indian Air Force officer was taken into custody after he was caught passing classified information to a woman friend on WhatsApp. According to reports, the Group Rank officer was believed to have met the woman friend on Facebook.
In September last year, the Uttar Pradesh Police had arrested a BSF jawan for allegedly spying for Pakistan’s intelligence agency, the ISI, whose female agent honey-trapped him.
