Aashiqui-fame actor Rahul Roy has suffered a brain stroke while filming in KargilAccording to reports, Rahul Roy has been admitted to a hospital in Mumbai. He’s currently reported to be in the ICU. Rahul Roy, Anu Aggarwal, and Deepak Tijori had appeared on The Kapil Sharma Show earlier this year to celebrate the 30 years of Aashiqui.

According to an Indian Express report, the extreme weather condition of Kargil caused the brain stroke. The 52-year-old actor was immediately taken from Kargil to Srinagar before being flown to Mumbai’s Nanavati Hospital.

“He was hospitalised two days ago after he arrived from Kargil. He was admitted due to a progressive brain stroke,” the family source was quoted by news agency PTI.

Directed by Nitin Kumar Gupta, Rahul is playing the character of an army Major in the film LAC-Live.

Speaking on The Kapil Sharma Show, Rahul had spoken about the reason for being a bachelor. Rahul had revealed how the film Darr starring Shah Rukh Khan and Juhi Chawla was originally written with him in mind, adding that he regretted on not doing that film, which catapulted Shah Rukh Khan to stardom.

Rahul’s famous films included Junoon and Phir Teri Kahani Yaad Aayee among others. He also took part in the reality show, Bigg Boss in 2006 and went on to win the competition.
