2 FIRs lodged against Radhe Maa in two months

Just a month after a Kandivali woman accused the self-styled godwoman Radhe Maa of dowry harassment, television reality show actress Dolly Bindra has now lodged an FIR against her and nearly 20 of her family member and close associates on charges of “intimidation, sexual harassment and voyeurism”.

Bindra filed two complaints against Radhe Maa. In the first, the actress stated that earlier she used to be an ardent follower of the ‘godwoman’ and would attend her satsangs religiously, but she later found her to be obscene. She also alleged that Radhe Maa would force her to get intimate with other male followers.

In her second application, Bindra said that she had been receiving threatening phone calls since 10 August. Bindra sought police intervention and later, complained that the phone calls are made by Radhe Maa’s followers, who threatened her with dire consequences.

Following this complaint, the Republican Party of India has planned an agitation on Friday and has also demanded a CBI inquiry against the  controversail ‘godwoman.’

In the dowry case, however, Radhe Maa was granted interim protection by the Bombay High Court but as per the court orders, she will be visiting Kandivali police station on Wednesday.

No arrest has been made yet.
