Petrol, Diesel get costlier by Rs.3.07/ltr and Rs.1.90/ltr in Delhi


Pterol prices on Wednesday were hiked by a whopping Rs. 3.07/litre in Delhi (including state levies) with corresponding price revision in other states. With this change, the price of petrol in Delhi will cost around Rs. 59.68/litre.

According to ANI News, diesel prices also witnessed a hike of Rs. 1.90/litre in Delhi (including state levies) with corresponding price revision in other States. A litre of diesel is now to cost Rs. 48.33/litre.

Indian Oil Corporation Ltd. has decided to effect the following price changes from midnight of 16th and 17th March 2016.

The hike comes in due to the current level of international product prices of petrol and diesel and INR-USD exchange rate warrant increase in price of petrol and diesel, the impact of which is being passed on to the consumers with this price revision.
