Jindal Steel and Power has recorded impressive growth in the production of steel and related products in the first quarter of the financial year 2019-20. The company said in a statement that the volume of production of steel and related products stood at 1.57 million tonnes.
The company also registered an equally phenomenal growth in the sales of its production with volume reaching 1.51 million tonnes during the quarter of April – June 2019. The growth in production of quarterly steel and related products and their sales stood at a robust 17% and 16% respectively during Q1 FY20 on a year-on-year basis.
The quarterly production and sales of steel and related products stood at 1.35 MT and 1.30 million tonnes respectively for the same period in the last financial year.
