India, China sign 24 deals worth $10 billion


India and China have signed 24 deals worth over $10 billion after PM Modi`s talks with Premier Li Keqiang.

This include cooperation in setting up of skill development and entrepreneurship Ahmedabad/Gandhinagar, establishing consulates-general in Chengdu and Chennai, MoU in the field of skills development and vocational education and co-operation in the field of mining and mineral sector.

Foreign Ministery`s spokesperson Vikas Swaroop tweeted the full list of 24 deals signed between India and China.


Modi described his visit as “very productive & positive” adding that  he was looking forward to “working with President Xi and Premier Li.”

He added, “Nathu La route for Indian pilgrims to visit Kailash Mansarovar will become operational in June. I want to thank China for that.This is India`s year in China, next year will be China`s year in India.”
